I am a bit confused about my exercise routine right now. I’m not trying to lose weight so I’ll get that out of the way right now.
I’ve been doing a lot of research about yoga, aerobics and strength training. Everyone says something different. I study a form of yoga that is very physically demanding (Ashtanga and Ashtanga-based forms), however, I feel like I can’t fit it all in in terms of a 90 minute practice, strength training and an offical cardio workout. I’ve been doing 4 yoga practices a week and then some Tae Bo with resistance bands 2 days a week. I got sick of doing a 90 minute practice and then putting in another hour of cardio/strength every day….anyone have good solid advice for me?
The conflicting information is that the yoga isn’t enough for strength and cardio….or on the other hand it is enough…..I just want to maintain good physical fitness without overdoing it or underdoing it. I’ve exercised regularly for 10 years now (33 years old).
